I missed posting last week due to a severe thunderstorm.  A nearby lightning strike fried our cable modem and the cable company wasn’t able to replace it for several days. An inconvenience, yes, but annoying nevertheless.  This got me thinking about disasters.  (Check out Are You Ready for Disaster?
